He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lou Mauney Rash. He is survived by: his father Donald Hugh Rash; his brother Michael Rash (Kathy Sain) of Six Mile, SC; his nieces, Mary Kathryn Henderson (Will) of Orlando, FL and Emily Elizabeth Uselman (Matt) of Hoschton, GA; and his great-nephews, Oden Henderson, Otto Henderson, Maverick Uselman and Conrad Uselman.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Long Shoals Wesleyan Church (3019 Long Shoals Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine Children's Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
