She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Henry and Rosie Rich Pope; her husband Fred Marshall Brown; her son George Pope; and her siblings, Mildred Brown, Wylie Pope and George Pope.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Pope (Shilda) of Cherryville, NC and Jimmy Pope (Barbara) of Vale, NC. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
