She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Clyde Abernethy and Willie Withers Abernethy; her husband Thomas Jack Baker; and her brother Jack Abernethy. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Bengtson (David) of Davidson, Kimberly Baker of Ferdinand, IN and David Baker (Lisa) of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Miranda Fair, Miles Bengtson, Heather McDonald, Joseph Baker and Matthew Baker; her sister-in-law Corinne Abernethy; her niece Lesa McKay; and her nephew Brad Abernethy. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
