She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Jewell Totherow and Hennie Taylor Totherow; her husband Jimmy Monroe Pugh; and her sister Helen Messer. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Therrell (Shirley) of Catawba County, Tammy Martin (Joe) of Vale and Robin Collins (Terry) of Cedar Bluff, AL; her grandchildren, David Therrell (Bethany) of Maiden, Daniel Therrell (Ashley) of Lincolnton, Kelsey Therrell of Hickory and Kyle Martin of Vale; her great grandchildren, Kinsley Therrell, Molly Therrell, Isabelle Therrell, Bayleigh Therrell and Jeffrey Therrell; and her siblings, Ruby Edwards (Steve) of Rock Hill, SC and James Lowery of Rock Hill, SC..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Hulls Grove Baptist Church (6670 NC-27, Vale, NC 28168). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
