He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Louis Shipp. He is survived by: his children, Darius Byrd, Aaron Byrd, Kayla Byrd, Alexandria Byrd and Christona McDowell; his siblings, Greg Foote, Joseph Shipp, Dirk Shipp, Jonathan Shipp, Trinier Bryant, Crystal Lattimore, Denean Byers and Tonda Shipp; and his aunt Lillie Friday. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
