We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 76, Garry Steven McCorkle Sr. (Lincolnton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Edison and Viola Campbell McCorkle; and his siblings, Jewell Reynolds and C. E. McCorkle. He is survived by: his wife Starr D. McCorkle; his sons, Garry Steven McCorkle, Jr. (Shannon) of Iron Station, NC and Casey Alan McCorkle of Denver, NC; his grandchildren, James, Aliya and Kailey McCorkle; and his sibling's children, Dale Ray, Skip McCorkle and Michael Dowdle.

Memorials may be made to Rock Springs Campground, in memory of Garry McCorkle, P.O. Box 204, Denver, NC 28037.
