He was predeceased by: his parents, Shellie Martin and Dicie Bivens Martin. He is survived by: his wife Susie Hines Martin; his children, Donna M. Gilbert of Lincolnton, NC and James G. Martin of Lincolnton, NC; and his grandchildren, Colton of Lincolnton, NC. and Katie Gilbert of Lincolnton, NC..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Asbury Methodist Church (3097 Asbury Church Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
