He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ann Pope; his parent Lorene Brown of Lincolnton; his children, Sherry Taylor of Iron Station and David Pope of Iron Station; his stepdaughter Lois Lockerman of Weddington; his brothers, Jim Pope (Bunny) of Vale and Rodney Pope (Shilda) of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Dillon Taylor, Natalie Salter, Brandy Sisk and Landon Gaertner; his great grandchildren, Peyton Pullas and Carson Waldrop; and his siblings-in-law, Teddy Lane (Judy) of Florida, David Lane (Beverly) of West Virginia and Carolyn Lane of West Virginia.
