She was predeceased by: her parents, John Moore Ritchie and Dora Elizabeth Chapman Ritchie; her husband Larry Leon Vance; and her siblings, Ruby Grigg, Dean Shull, Dare Adams and Harold Ritchie.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Vance of Iron Station and Terry Vance of Iron Station; her grandchildren, Ashley Goins (Zach) of Cherokee, Teresa Davis (Lucas) of Lincolnton and Jessica Raache of Virginia; and her siblings, John Dale Ritchie of Iron Station and Diane Garris of Iron Station.
