Ledford and Claudia Drewery Ledford; his wife Pamela Poole Ledford; and his siblings, Jimmy Ledford, Horace Ledford, Robert Ledford, Eddie Ledford, Peggy Ledford, Eloise Hammett, Sadie Turner, Judy Green, Jetty Carpenter, Patsy Ledford Harris and Jean Richards.

He is survived by : his siblings, Linda Terhorst (Heinrich) and Tommy Ledford (Linda); his children, Jack D. Ledford, Jr. (Jenny), Angie Ledford Norris and Joshua David Ledford (Monica); his grandchildren, Jack David Ledford, III, Tristan Ledford (Brooke), Dalton Ledford, Jon Ledford (Allie), Zach Norris and Jake Gordon; his great grandchildren, Brody Ledford and Everly Ledford; his sisters-in-law, Patsy Ledford and Janice Caracappa; and his niece Cara Dowling.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Memorial Park. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150-4208).
