He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Lynwood Hinnant and Mary Lucille Roberts Hinnant. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cook Hinnant; and his children, Jimmy Hinnant of Lincolnton and Vicki Rauch of Whittier, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
