He was predeceased by: his father James Richard Goodson. He is survived by: his mother Gwen Burke Goodson; his son Joseph Goodson (Anna) of Maiden; his brother Mike Goodson (Reaca) of Lincolnton; his nephew Nicholas Goodson of Myrtle Beach, SC; his niece Kristen Gettys of Lafayette, IN; and his grandson Lincoln Goodson.
