She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Leo Thompson and Barbara Greene Thompson; and her siblings, Sally Thompson Dellinger, Tammy Thompson Cleaver and Wilbur Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Barnes; her sons, Michael Grosch (Keri) of Mount Holly, Brian Morrison of Dallas, David Morrison (Molly) of Denver and Jeffrey Barnes (Jennifer) of Pebble Beach, CA; and her brothers, Joe Thompson (Brenda) of Texas and Tommy Homer Thompson (Janet) of Longview, TX. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
