He was predeceased by: his mother Emily Frances Huss Goodson; and his stepfather Graham Franklin Goodson (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Roberts Goodson; his children, Wesley Scott Goodson of Ohio and Victoria Thrace Goodson of Mississippi; his brother Bucky Goodson (Kim) of Lincolnton; his stepbrother Dwayne Goodson of Lincolnton; his sisters, Lisa Goodson (Tom) of Lincolnton and Mitzi Rochelle (Bob) of Boone; his grandchildren, Sarai Goodson of Maiden, Rhys LaMacchia of Lincolnton, Evelyn Goodson of Florida and Parker Goodson of Florida; and his close friend Baby. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
