He is survived by: his mother Patricia Proctor Heafner; his wife Mary Lisa Payseur Heafner; his children, Jon Heafner (Amber) of Vale and Allison Stakem (Eric) of Lincolnton; his sister Teresa Walker (Terry) of Bessemer City; his half-brother Todd Goodman (April) of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Addisyn Heafner and Beau Stakem.
