He is survived by: his wife Martha "Prue" Angel; and his brother-in-law James Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
