Joan Paulette Skiper Chatman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Paulette Skiper Chatman (Lincolnton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Paul Skipper and Margaret Skipper; and her sister Jean Reep. She is survived by: her wife Martha "Lynn" Carpenter; her children, Lee Chatman (Maria) of Lincolnton and Michelle Chatman of Brunswick County; her siblings, Joy Skipper of Gastonia and Johnny Skipper of Maiden; and her grandsons, Jacob Chatman Elizabeth Chatman, Timmy McCall, Cullen Long and Stephen Botting. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
