She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Willis and Alma Reep Willis; her former husbands, Robert Moon and Jake Nance; her granddaughter Crystal Moon; and her sisters, Maybelline Hoyle, Myrtle Hull, Juanita Beal and Ruby Ingle.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Robert Costello; her sons, Ronnie Lee Moon (Amber) of Lincolnton and Chris Anthony Moon of Georgia; her sister Diane Self of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Christie Weeks of Georgia, Chrissy Moon Sutherland (Walt) of South Carolina and Lynn Parker (Reed) of Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Peter Parker, Andrew Parker, Bella Weeks and Matthew Weeks. She is also survived by step- children.
