He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Ruth Elizabeth Brown Reep; his sister Brenda Reep Stanley; his brothers-in-law, Jack Stanley and Wayne Rickard; his parents-in-law, Bill and Hazel Lawing; his aunts and uncles, Gertrude Medley, Louise Watkins, Jack Brown and Andy Brown; and his cousin David Watkins.
He is survived by: his son Jesus; his wife Darlean Lawing Reep; his sister Susan Rickard; his sister-in-law Billie Lawing Dekle (Evan) of Keene, NH; his sibling's children, Jacob Lester (Emily) of Keene, NH, Bonnie Stanley Jarman of Texas, Lisa Stanley of Texas and Stanley of Texas; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda Jarman Austin, Josh Jarman, Elissa Boar and PJ Boar; his cousins, Ann Medley, June Freeze (Ronny), Sheree Rhyne and Lynn Hovis (Stan); and his friends, Rev. Jim McCoy, Don Ellium, Mike Boyd and Dean Boyd of Dunn's Mountain Jackals.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (493 Calvary Church Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
