He is survived by: his mother Karen Hensley Nicely of Lavalette, WV; his wife Barbara R. Jenkins of Lincolnton; his children, Krystyna Jenkins Carr (Shon) of Lincolnton, Brittany Jenkins Roberts (Brandon) of Lincolnton and John Michael Jenkins of New Bern; his grandchildren, Madysyn, Rayden and Malachi; his sister Kathy Whitlock of Lavalette, WV; his brother-in-law Donald Smith; his uncle Jerry Hensley (Kathy) of Huntington, WV; his aunts, Gwendolyn Kendrick of Huntington, WV and Pamela Hensley of Huntington, WV; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.
