He is survived by: his wife Cindy Guiton; his children, Amy Nixon (Mike) and Stacy Guiton; his stepchildren, Brandon Gleason and Carrie Loper; his grandchildren, Hannah Nixon, Joshua Nixon (Nikkia), John Nixon, Kylie Springer, Cole Gleason, Alivia Loper and Isabella Loper; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Victoria and Cameron; and his sisters, Betty Guiton, Tina Leonhardt (Jamie) and Judy Guiton. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Leonard's Fork Baptist Church (1462 Leonards Fork Church Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
