He was predeceased by: his parents, Yates King Wilkinson and Ethel Boggs Wilkinson; his wife Linda Roach Wilkinson; and his brother Yates Wilkinson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Hartman (Chuck) of Lincolnton; his grandson Cameron Drew Scronce (Hong) of Vietnam; his siblings, Jane Shrum (Walt) of Lincolnton, Kay Ward of Anderson, SC and Richard Wilkinson of Lincolnton; his close friend Wanda Ervin of Bessemer City; and his sister-in-law Nelda Wilkinson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Laboratory United Methodist Church (1850 Bill Lynch Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
