He was predeceased by: his father Mitchell R. Robinson. He is survived by: his mother Hazel Lee Brown Robinson; his wife Heather Reichinger; his daughters, Ann Marie and Regina; and his siblings, Mark Robinson of Vale, Matthew "Albert" Robinson of Crouse, Timothy Robinson of Lincolnton, Sharon Shook of Vale and Crystal Ward of Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 5286 North Carolina Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
