With sadness, we share the passing of Katherine Eileen Geerken (Lincolnton, North Carolina). Katherine, born on September 23, 1942, passed away on June 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Katherine for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Okrepkie and Ann Maksymicz Okrepkie; and her brother William Okrepkie. She is survived by: her husband Cornelis Christiaan Geerken; her pet Sasha; and her children, Christiaan Stephen Geerken, Eric Charles Geerken, Eileen Margaret Weitzel and Karen Anne Nield. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
