He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Preston Perkins and Clara Mae Hoke Perkins; and his siblings, R. C., Claude, Donald, Bryan, Katherine Poole, Mildred Whisnant, Shirley Richard, Jewell McConnell and Kaye Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Scotty Perkins (Michele) of Mooresville, Graham Perkins of Lincolnton and Angie Jenkins (Tracy) of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Karly (Zach) of Charlotte and Kasey of Greenville, NC. He is also survived by two brothers- and two sisters-in-law; and a host of extended family members and cherished friends.
