It is with sadness that the passing of Larry Wayne McCorkle of Lincolnton, North Carolina is shared. Larry, born on November 10, 1943, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester "Chum" McCorkle and Audrey Elizabeth Burgess McCorkle. He is survived by: his wife Helen Rebecca McCorkle; his sons, Tommy Wayne McCorkle of Lincolnton, Richard Lemar McCorkle of Maiden and Donald Ray McCorkle (Melissa) of Lincolnton; his siblings, Jerry Lester McCorkle (Rita) of Lincolnton and Zellie Lee McCorkle Canipe (Bob) of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Clint Hallston McCorkle and Mikayla Nicole Beard.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Antioch Baptist Church (3413 North Carolina Hwy 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
