She is survived by: her husband Gene M. Collins; her daughters, Patty Leggette of Lincolnton and Sandy Maddy (Frank) of Dallas; her siblings, George Kirtley (Ruth Ann) of Little Rock, AR and Betty Kirtley of Arkansas; her grandchildren, Macy, Trey, Pete, Christie and Josh; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Sydney, Lilly, Easton, Peyton, Kairi and Maeve.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (531 Hardin Rd, Dallas, NC 28034). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
