She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Raeford Parker and Elizabeth Sanders Kindley; her brother Wayne Parker; her grandson David Lee Blake McConnell; her cousin Larry Hannon; and her close friend Peggy Wise.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Larry Smith; her daughters, Jeanie Willis of Lincolnton, Mandy Willis (HotRod) of Lawndale and Ginger Icenhour of Conover; her brothers, Tony Parker of Claremont and Lee Kindley of Icard; her siblings-in-law, Ray Smith of Gastonia and Ruby Buchanan of Gastonia; her grandchildren, Haylee Travis (Joe), Chevelle Terry and Daniel Icenhour (Addi); her great grandchild Walker Travis; her daughter Rachel Edwards; and her close friends, Teresa Pierce, Friend, Teresa Wise, Tommy Scronce, Sandy McLay and Kathy Rosenbaum.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Victory Life Church (1495 N Aspen St, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
