He is survived by: his wife Susan Bivens; and his siblings, Roy Bivens (Cindy) of Lincolnton, Brenda Edwards (Ronnie Savage), Faye Ventura (Emelio) of Lincolnton and Kay Terry of Dallas.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the BURKE MORTUARY & CREMATORY (1101 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (1101 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650).
