In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Bennett Bowen and Virginia Christine Harrison Bowen; and his brother Earl Edward Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Potter Bowen; his children, Kenneth Clark Bowen (M'Shel) of Cherryville and Samantha Denise Diers (Julius) of Vale; and his grandchildren, Richard Bowen, II, Brittani Swanbeck, Mitchell Bowen, Alexander Diers and Meredith Bowen.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2858 NC-150, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
