With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ricky Lee McDonald Sr. (Lincolnton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Garlin McDonald and Mary Lou McCurry McDonald; and his sister Mickey Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Huffstetler McDonald; his children, Ricky McDonald, Jr. (Terri) of Lincolnton and April Shook (Greg) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Cheyenne McDonald, Hannah Shook, Abigail Shook, Andrew Philbeck and Kaleb McDonald; his sister Debbie Fowler (Danny) of Jackson, GA; and his brother-in-law Bob Perkins.
