He is survived by: his mother Penelope Hoyle Buff of Cherryville; his wife Donna Shelton Buff; his daughter Taylor Shelton of Lincolnton; his siblings, Chris Buff (Crystal) of Cherryville, Lara Britton (Jeff) of Cherryville and Andrea Armstrong (Arnold) of Dallas, NC; his grandchildren, Olivia and Ozlynn; his grandfather Blake (Cole); and his siblings' children, Heather, Trey, Sloan, Meggie, Brittany, Bethany, Lainie, Jarod, Amber, Chris, Trent, Aubrey, Gracie, Ayden, Brynlee, Jude, Stefan, Julian, Bohdi, Emery, Sutton, Tenley, Beckett, Sailor, Navy, Piper, Ford, Kelly, Zack, Donnie, Maggie and Josie.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery.
