He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glenn Callaway, Sr. and Nancy Neel Callaway Rankin. He is survived by: his wife Doris Hager Callaway; his daughters, Sheri C. Martin (Cliff) of Alexis and Lori Callaway of Stanley; his brother Paul Callaway (Kathy) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Sarah Luckey (David) of Alexis, Jacob Martin (Emily) of Alexis and Lydia Martin of Alexis; and his great grandchildren, Cora, Clara, Cooper Luckey, McKinley and Fletcher Martin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Pearl Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pearl Baptist Church, Building Fund, 4641 E. Highway 27, Iron Station, NC 28080.
