He was predeceased by : his parents, James Robert Houk and Annie Armstrong Houk; his wife Alva Lynette Wilfong Houk; and his brother John Wayne Houk. He is survived by : his children, Robert Houk (Stephanie) of Johnson City, TN, Mark Houk (Barbara) of Lincolnton and Becky Godfrey (John) of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Olivia, Etta and Taylor.
