He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Ellis and Eunice Hoffman Hudspeth. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy King Hudspeth; his daughters, Cynthia Blake (William) of Asheville, NC and Shanda Lawing (Jeff) of Lincolnton, NC; his grandchildren, Andrew Blake, Erin Cathey, Adam Blake, Caitlin Aldridge and Allison Nguyen; his great grandchildren, Avery Cathey, Natalie Cathey, Emilia Blake, Pepper Blake, Gracie Aldridge and Rylee Aldridge; and his sister JoAnne Alexander of Mount Holly, NC..
