We bid farewell to Ruby Ann Heavner Canipe of Lincolnton, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Ruby Ann Heavner touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Heavner and Nannie Carpenter Heavner; and her husband Roy Dale Canipe. She is survived by: her children, Garry Canipe (Tamara) of Mooresville and Kathy Ivey (Tom Ivey) of Lincolnton; her siblings, Randy Heavner of Lincolnton and Judy Mosteller of Lincolnton; her granddaughters, Christina Brown (Phillip) of Sneads Ferry and Stephanie Greer (Tom) of Greensboro; and her great grandchild Oakland Greer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Burke Mortuary of Maiden (1101 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery (4352 Macedonia Church Rd, Vale, NC 28168).
