It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Burns of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Ballard and Annie Lucille Ballard; and her siblings-in-law, Terry Mitchem and Fran Ballard. She is survived by : her daughter Kelly Simon (Jason); her siblings, Beckie Mitchem and Fred "Pudgy" Ballard; her nephew Mark Mitchem (Kristin); her extended family WIlliam Burns (Lygia); and her granddaughters, Layla and Hannah Simon. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
