She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma O'Dessa Black Hall and Thomas P. Hall; her husband Thomas Jackson Helms; and her siblings, Peggy Hall Howell and Jack Williams Black.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Helms Barkley (Julius) and John Marvin Helms; her grandchildren, Karen Lynn Helms Fry (Russell), John Thomas Helms, Kristen Helms Burton (Andrew), Mckenzie Barkley Conner (Jonathan), Kendall Barkley Taylor (Will), Whitney Barkley-Denney (David) and Jackson Kent Barkley; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Fry, Silas Fry, Sutton Fry, Emily Burton, Olivia Burton, Emery Love, Brantley Conner, Parks Taylor, Juliette Taylor, Ezra Barkley-Denney and Zara Barkley-Denney. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends who were blessed by her love.
