He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Clarence and Wilhelmina Janke Reese; and his sister Marion West. He is survived by: his wife Janene A. Reese; his children, Timothy Reese, Terry Reese (Theresa) of Stanley, NC, Nancy Dale and Janae Reese of Salisbury, NC; his granddaughters, Leah Grywalski (Josh) of Sherrills Ford, NC, Lauren Dale (Zach Onstot) of Charlotte, NC and Holly Reese of Stanley, NC; and his great grandchildren, Chase Dale, Luke Grywalski and Caleb Grywalski.
