He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clifton Taylor and Marjorie Lee Smith Taylor; and his wife Jacquelyn Hovis Taylor. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Joe Stroup, Penny Hovis and Linda Lemons (Mark). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Asbury Methodist Church (3097 Asbury Church Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
