He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Anna Anderson Lance (Royall) and Robert Park Lance. He is survived by: his wife Patti Merck Lance; his daughter Robyn Lance; his son-in-law Eric Brown; his grandson Gilen Brown; his daughter Kate Parks; and his son-in-law Ryan Parks.
