She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Mulder and Maggie Smith Mulder; her son Jason King; and her siblings, Buck Mulder, Henry Mulder, Elizabeth Swain, Mary Carter and Maggie Godwin.

She is survived by : her husband Arthur King; her daughter Cathy (Brian); her grandson Jacob "Monkey" Edenbeck; and her pet Dick Tracy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service (507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Quankie Baptist Church (4070 NC-48, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
