She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Eliza Knight and Samuel Alston of Roanoke Rapids; and her daughter Keletha Russell. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Hines, Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her children, Janine Hines of Richmond, VA, Cennetta Baily (Kizen Baily) of Newport News, VA and Cecil Hines III of Hampton, VA; and her son-in-law Aaron Russell of Newport News, VA.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (215 US Hwy 158 E, Littleton, NC 27850). Viewing was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Quankey Missionary Baptist Church (3265 NC-48, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
