He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Bowden; and his children, Sylvia Staton of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Priscilla Bowden of Gaston, NC, Linwood Williams (Michelle) of Littleton, NC, Cathy Carter of Littleton, NC, Gregory Bowden of Littleton, NC, Andre Bowden of Littleton, NC, Antonio Williams (Shaniece) of Warrenton, NC and Patricia Tinsley (Stephan) of Enfield, NC. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (215 US Hwy 158 E, Littleton, NC 27850). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roanoke Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (1991 Roanoke Chapel Rd, Littleton, NC 27850).
