With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Shearin Reid of Littleton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Reid; her son Gerald Reid (Jamie); and her siblings, Charlie, Freeman, Whit, Garnett Shearin, Lois Willey Roger, Maude Shearin (Clifton), Ethel Smith (Richard) and Lou Val Robertson (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughter Robin West (Tim); her sister Virginia Tant (Jack); her grandchildren, Macon Vester (Cole), J. D. Reid (Katelyn) and India Silverthorne (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Lynnlee James Vester, Brayden Silverthorne and Alora Conrada.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that any memorials be directed to Enterprise Baptist Church.
