We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2023, at the age of 89, Eleanor Hamrick Paxton of Littleton, North Carolina, born in Clay, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bishop L. Hamrick and Cora S. Truman; and her siblings, Leonard, Wallace, Ethel Taylor and June Odom.

She is survived by : her siblings, Zsoldos, Mary Belle Workman and Loretta Morris; her children, Danny L. Paxton (Julia) of Henrico, Steven L. Paxton (Sonya) of Fuquay-Varina, Cameron Paxton of Cameron, Adrienne Gragg of Coronado, Lindsay Packard of Taylor and Bethany Paxton of Gilbert, Arizona.; and her great grandchildren, Porter Knighton, Alexis Paxton, Ayden Paxton, Violet Packard, Noah Packard, Eve Packard, Belle Packard and Jacob Packard. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
