She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Eaton and Ruth Boyd Blackman; her daughters, Thelma and Carol Sommerville; her grandchildren, Takeysha and Darryl Sommerville; and her brothers, Albert Boyd (Dorothy Boyd) and James Blackman.
She is survived by: her caregiver Tamika Sommerville; her great grandchildren, Jamarries and Jayceon Harvey; her children, Alton, Geneva Sommerville of Atlanta, GA and Miles Sommerville; her grandchildren, Lequivia Ampry of New York, Armel Browder of New York, Akeem Browder of New York, Tamika Sommerville and Jamale Bowman; her sisters, Joan Diaz of New York, Rosie Blackman (Robert) of New Jersey and Ruth Blackman of Atlanta, GA; her niece Carolyn Boyd "Her Girl" of Durham, NC; and her caregiver Linda Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
