She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Macon Salmon and Louise S. Salmon Pegram; her brother Robert Macon Salmon; her stepsister Edith P. Bobbitt; and her son-in-law Charlie R. Vaughan.
She is survived by: her husband Dewey Simms "Simmie" Isles of Littleton; her children, Bobby Simms Isles (Kathie) of Aurilean Springs, Cindy Isles Vaughan of Roxobel and Michelle Isles Liles (Timmy) of Littleton; her sister Judith Salmon Clary of Littleton; her stepbrother John "Junior" Clement Pegram Jr. (Harriett) of Chapel Hill; her grandchildren, Bryan Isles (Angie) of Aurelian Springs, Courtney Vaughan Jones (Matt) of Greenville, Chase Vaughan (Ashley) of Aurelian Springs, Alli Liles Saieed (Nick) of Greenville and Gray Liles (Alaina) of Littleton; her great grandchildren, Tripp Vaughan, Rylan Vaughan, Charlee Rae Jones, Aubrey Jones, Paisley Jones, Peyton Isles, Haley Farrow, Dylan Farrow and Brian Farrow Jr.; her friend Sandra Shearin (John) of Vaughan; and her caregivers, Minnie, Judy and Jennifer.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Enterprise Baptist Church (404 Enterprise Rd, Littleton, NC 27850).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Enterprise Baptist Church, in honor of her loving and generous heart.
