He was predeceased by : his parents, Phillip Davis and Nellie Davis; his sister Mary A. Williams; and his brother-in-law Paul Williams. He is survived by : his children, Johnnie and Tiesha Davis; his grandchildren, Koriana, Jhane, Stacia, Johnnie III, Kai and Bryce; his great grandchildren, Jaziyah, Jazmyah, King and Prince; and his siblings, Lorene D. Hargrove, Nellie M. Williams and James S. Davis.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Ashley Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (2933 US Hwy 158 E, Littleton, NC 27850). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
