He is survived by: his wife Alice Phillips; his children, Gregory Phillips of Bronx, NY and Carla West of Sanford, NC; his sister Elsie Ingram of Ayden, NC; his niece Yanique Lloyd; and his close friend John Taylor. He is also survived by six grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
